better than a blade…

Can you break away from the herd? Are you a leader? or Are you a follower?

Walking on water, I’m soaked in flames, you know that woman’s got a deadly brain. I might be playing right into her game, but somehow I’m always lining up to play it again…

Yeah, you cut me down, yeah, you got me under the gun…

I feel your bullet punch straight through me, but it’s better than a blade, I feel the smoke running through my veins, yeah it’s better than a blade…

We’re broken and battered with nowhere to go, shackled to a nightmare running so slow. So lock your doors and turn the lights down low,  I hope she don’t come around, I hope she don’t know…

I feel your bullet punch straight through me, but it’s better than a blade, I feel the smoke running through my veins, yeah it’s better than a blade…

For once pull a punch, show some love to me baby, yeah it’s better than a blade…

“This started as an idea about how we’re all herded into this types of lifestyles that are against our natural course of life and how its done in such a hidden way. But once you see it, and a lot of people can, its really maddening and impossible to miss…

I remember learning this idea of supply and demand. It used to be that supply was created like a shoe cobbler making a pair of shoes and then demand was created by their existence alone, mainly because it was filling a need…

Now the principle has reversed itself. People create a demand using psychology and tools that actually trick us into thinking we need something so we buy it and they then create a supply…

The chorus in the song is basically saying I’d rather be shot point blank then stabbed in the back slowly dying. That gets boiled down to the notion of being overt or divert…

Other aspects of the song involve relationship perils and some misguided anger as a result of both of those two things.”

Rest easy, the revolution is growing, you can hear a sample of what’s to come…
